Hiking NJ: Red Dot Trail

Red Dot Trail @ Delaware Water Gaps

The red dot trail is one of the most popular hiking trails in NJ. It is in the Delaware Water Gaps recreation area, between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. On the trail, there are waterfalls and overlooks to reach the peak of Mount Tammany. It is a 4-mile loop, up from the red-dot trail, and down along the blue trail. Note: the trail overlaps a small section of the AT trails. On weekends or holidays, it is hard to find a parking spot if not coming very early/late.
Cross the Delaware River is Mount Minsi in PA, which has a equally popular hiking trail as well.
Scenery: cliff, boulder, creek, forest.
Difficulty: Ok.                                    lol
Parking: Dunnfield Creek Natural Area (GPS: 40°58’18.9"N 75°07’33.3”W)。 There are a few other parking lots nearby.
