Hiking PA: Pulpit Rock and Pinnacle

The Pulpit Rock and Pinnacle Loop

                   Panorama of Pinnacle

Get ready for the amazing views and the ten mile hike!

Parking: Reservoir Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526

The parking space is relatively ample, compared to other popular AT trails. After parking, look for the barred entrance of the reservoir and the trail map.

The loop starts with the AT trail (1) , up to the pulpit rock (2), and then following the AT trail to the pinnacle (3).  You can start descending before reaching (4) at a sign that indicates the beginning of the blue trail. The up-hill AT trail is relatively challenging but rewarding. The down-hill blue trail is very easy and relexing.
